Check this path.. Also confirm if NewData folder exists and has permissions. Make sure that you can access the full path and try again.
By the error message you have a whitespace in front of the file name, as Aswin already wrote. Remove it or post your SQL Statement here.
Hi Ashwin and Olaf Helper. White space was there as ashwin suggested , Its working now created database thank you for your kind reply. SQL Server doesn't need extra space. It needs the space of the files and if they exist there, then that's enough. It's a security issue. It doesn't matter if you connect to the server as admin, and run SSMS there. Your account is completely irrelevant. It's the service account for SQL Server that matters. You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
Login to reply. I'm not aware of the shut down circumstances, only that one morning they came in and complained they couldn't log in to check email or anything.
