Beaver Creek child group ski and snowboard lessons are available for all ability levels, ages 3 through Parents will have the confidence of knowing their kids are in good hands and having a great time.

Beaver Creek's teen group ski and snowboard lessons allow your teen to learn in a group of kids their age and have fun on the mountain. Face coverings will not be required during the outdoor portion of the ski and ride school experience. Do I need a proof of vaccination to go to ski and ride school or take private lessons? Children ages 12 and older who are part of a full-day ski and ride school program will be required to show proof of vaccination as lessons include lunches at indoor, on-mountain quick-service restaurants.

This proof of vaccination will be required at the time of drop-off at the ski and ride school program. Adults participating in ski and ride school programs or private lessons may choose to opt-out of dining at indoor, on-mountain quick-service restaurants.

Will there be an option to pick up my child 12 and over for lunch if they cannot show proof of vaccination? We will be requiring proof of vaccination for all children ages 12 and over in full-day ski and ride school programs that contain a lunch offering.

We will not be providing an outdoor or lunch-pickup option for these individuals. At many of our resorts, half-day lesson options that exclude lunch will also be available. If you or your child cannot meet this requirement, cancellations must be made 24 hours in advanced of your lesson. Do I need a vaccine to ski and ride this season? If you wish to access our resorts to ski and ride this season, a vaccination will not be required.

Vaccines will also not be required in outdoor spaces such lift lines, chairlifts, gondolas, outdoor restaurants and restaurant patios, or in indoor spaces such as restrooms, lodging properties, full-service restaurants, and retail and rental locations.

However, if you wish to access our indoor, on-mountain quick-service restaurants, proof of COVID vaccination will be required for those 12 and older. Why is Vail Resorts requiring proof of vaccination to enter or dine at indoor, on-mountain quick-service restaurants this season?

As a company, the health and safety of our guests and employees is our top priority. We are fortunate that the core of our business takes place outdoors in beautiful, vast mountain settings. Consistent with the approaches taken by many other large-scale indoor events and venues, we believe this requirement is necessary given the number of guests using these facilities and the fact that guests will not be wearing face coverings while eating and drinking.

What qualifies as proof of vaccination for guests looking to dine at indoor, on-mountain, quick-service restaurants this season? Guests age 12 and over will need to provide proof of COVID vaccination by showing one of the following:. Adults 18 and over will also need to provide an official photo ID.

After the first validation of COVID vaccination, guests may opt for a small, non-transferable sticker to be applied to the front of their pass. Guests with this sticker can re-enter indoor, cafeteria-style restaurants at any Vail Resorts property for the remainder of the season without re-validating their proof of vaccination at the door.

Guests may also opt not to receive a sticker and instead to re-validate their proof of vaccination each time they enter indoor, cafeteria-style restaurants. Regardless, Vail Resorts will not be recording any guest vaccination status information. Which vaccinations will be accepted?

Which indoor, on-mountain, quick service restaurants will require proof of vaccination? Multi-Day Lesson Packages Most of our resorts offer great discounts for multi-day lessons for children and adults. Vail and Beaver Creek Ski School offers two different multi-day options.

There is the First Time Series for people who have never tried the sport before. This is undoubtedly the best program to enroll in if you are new to our sports. The discounted package includes three days of lessons to help you learn the sport, with the intention of being comfortable to venture out on your own after 3 days of instruction.

For those who are not new to the sport, we also offer a 3 Day package for skiing or snowboarding. The discounted package is a great value and will help you expand your skill set on snow!

These lessons are not transferable to others and unused day may not be refunded. These lesson packages are available all season long and the best price is guaranteed when you book online in advanced of your arrival. Many of these 3 Day lesson packages come with lift ticket and rental package options. Half Days For beginner year olds- Available from am to 12 noon, when availability permits.

Do you have rentals available for Children's Ski and Ride School? If you register online you may reserve rentals in advance. Please allow a minimum of 30 minutes prior to the lesson start time on the first day for fitting.

If possible please come in the afternoon the day before to pick up tickets and get fitted for rental equipment. Does Beaver Creek offer ski and snowboarding school for adults? What is the length in time of a lesson? Program Length Adult Programs: Lessons meet at am and end at pm. Children Programs Age programs: Children need to be dressed, ticketed, ready to ski, and checked in no later than am. Parent conferences and child pick up are available from until pm. Children may wait in the centers until pm under supervised care. Is ski rental equipment included with adult lessons? Like lift tickets, equipment rental is not included in the price of Adult Lessons.

Are meals included? Snow, Friends and Fun! For the age programs and Vail's and teen programs 13 and older , the children meet their instructor at am. They leave the base area at am. The class will stop for lunch and take a bathroom and drink break when needed. They will do an indoor ski lesson and then go outside on the hill for an hour in the morning. They will come in around noon for lunch.

After lunch the children will go back outside to ski for another hour. They then come inside for quiet rest time until parent pick up at pm.
